Additionally, we have opened an office in Davao City, Philippines in 2022.  We encourage students in Japan to develop an interest in English language and to consider the option to study abroad and become familiar with diverse cultures.  We also conduct short and medium-term study abroad programme options in Wales, U.K jointly with Bangor University as well as in Davao City, Philippines for: junior high school, high school and university students.  Some of the participants have gone on to study at our partner universities.  Various educational institutions in Japan have chosen our programmes to introduce their students to wider educational opportunities in addition to their studies in Japan.

The length of the course is 43 weeks, comprising of 3 terms.

Short / Medium-Term Study Abroad Programmes in UK
Joint Programmes with Bangor University
The programmes are accredited by the City of Bangor, Wales, UK.  Students not only improve their English language skills but also learn about the local culture, history and so much more.  They are able to immerse themselves in their new environment while staying with a local family.

The programme for high school students includes a visit to Bangor University. There will be an introductory lecture about the university, delivered by one of the university officials (usually the Vice-chancellor). During their visit the students learn about what it is like to study abroad and this can help them to decide on their further study plans in the future.

For university students, we offer advanced courses to study subjects such as business studies and sociology so they can practically use their language skills in their chosen specialist subject. The programme content is designed to reflect the students’ fields of study at their universities in Japan. This can mean more to the students than just studying English in a general English language lesson. This programme is designed specifically to motivate the students to continue their university studies back in Japan.

Short-Term Study Abroad Programme in PhilippinesLanguage and Culture Study Programme
This programme takes place in Davao City, Philippines, and students will have a valuable opportunity to develop diverse perspectives and gain new insights by experiencing the unique lifestyle and culture of the Philippines.  In addition to the English language study, the programme includes interaction with local university students and children, so the participants will have a lot of chances to communicate with them in English.  We believe that this intensive practice of using English will keep the students motivated.  With the average age of 24 and the economic growth rate of 5.9%, the students will be greatly inspired by the country’s youth and spirit.
