The Trinity Foundation Programme (TFP), based in Bangor, Wales, serves as the academic head office of the pathway structure.

TFP is responsible for:

  • Foundation curriculum design and academic development
  • Academic standards and quality assurance
  • Assessment frameworks and progression criteria
  • Alignment with partner university requirements
  • Academic oversight of Foundation delivery

In coordination with IFU Japan, TFP also supports academic progression review and institutional alignment with partner universities.


Japan Office

International Federation of Universities (IFU)

The International Federation of Universities (IFU), headquartered in Kobe, serves as the official Japan office within the pathway framework.

IFU is responsible for:

  • Student selection and screening
  • Recruitment through approximately 30 designated Japanese high schools
  • Coordination of pre-foundation academic preparation
  • High school partnership management
  • Domestic communication and outreach

In collaboration with TFP, IFU supports student progression management, institutional communication with partner universities, and advisory support for students and parents.

The presence of a dedicated Japan office ensures consistent communication with schools and families and contributes to stable recruitment quality.


Philippines Office

Davao, Philippines

IFU maintains a local office in Davao to support programme coordination and institutional collaboration within the Philippines.

The Philippines office contributes to:

  • On-site programme coordination
  • Institutional liaison with local universities
  • Operational supervision of short-term academic programmes
  • Student welfare and support
  • Communication between regional and central offices

This regional presence enhances implementation stability and supports structured academic collaboration.
