There are many advantages to studying at Bangor University. Bangor is situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty and there is a very special atmosphere in what is very much a student city. A recent assessment of the quality of research at UK universities confirms Bangor’s status as a world class research institution and we have a long tradition of academic excellence.

From the moment you arrive, you will be given as much help and support as you need with welfare matters, as well as your academic work. You will therefore feel at home very quickly in your new environment. Our first foundation course was created especially for Japanese students and so we have a very good understanding of your needs.
